Nigerias football Head coach, Gernot Rohr, has left out forward, Kelechi Iheanacho and Middlesbrough (Rolls Royce) midfielder, John Obi Mikel from his squad to play Seychelles and Egypt, because of their little regular playing time and non-readiness.

However, Ahmed Musa, Kenneth Omeruo, Leon Balogun, Abdullahi Shehu and William Ekong, as well as midfielders Oghenekaro Etebo and Wilfred Ndidi and forwards Odion Ighalo, Alex Iwobi and Moses Simon made the team.
The team is ready for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Seychelles on March 22 and a friendly tie against Egypt four days later, the team will be without the two players
Although Iheanacho has struggled for form at the King Power Stadium, Mikel Obi has impressed since he returned to England in January.
Rohr has also named Flying Eagles’ defender, Valentine Ozornwafor, as well as former U17 World Cup winner, Victor Osimhen and Denmark–based Paul Onuachu.
Although Nigeria has already qualified.
